This section establishes definitions in a new section 9 of chapter 1, title 1, United States Code, for use in interpreting any Act of Congress or federal agency ruling, regulation, or interpretation, as follows: (1) "boy" as a minor human male; (2) "father" as a male parent; (3) "female," when referring to a natural person, as a person belonging, at conception, to the sex characterized by a reproductive system that produces eggs (ova); (4) "gender identity" as an internal and subjective sense of self disconnected from biological sex, which the federal government shall not recognize as a replacement for sex; (5) "girl" as a minor human female; (6) "male," when referring to a natural person, as a person belonging, at conception, to the sex characterized by a reproductive system that produces sperm; (7) "man," except as a generic reference to humans, as an adult human male; (8) "mother" as a female parent; (9) "sex," when referring to a natural person's sex, as the person's immutable biological classification as male or female; and (10) "woman" as an adult human female. (Thus, these biological definitions apply government-wide to federal law interpretation, superseding uses based on gender identity.)
