S. 115 — GATE CRASHERS Act

This section designates the short title of the Act as the “Guarding and Administering Trespass Enforcement, Controlling Restricted Areas, and Stopping High-risk Encroachment Recidivism and Sabotage Act” or the “GATE CRASHERS Act”.

This section establishes a new criminal offense (18 U.S.C. § 1390) for knowingly entering, without authorization, any Department of Defense property clearly marked as closed or restricted. Violations are punishable by (1) a fine, imprisonment for not more than 180 days, or both, for a first offense; (2) a fine, imprisonment for not more than three years, or both, for a second offense; and (3) a fine, imprisonment for not more than 10 years, or both, for a third or subsequent offense.
