This section reauthorizes the Deschutes River Conservancy Working Group—established to facilitate collaborative conservation, restoration, and water management efforts in the Deschutes River Basin of Oregon—through 2032 (from 2016) and increases maximum administrative costs to 10% (from 5%). It further revises the Working Group's board of directors to consist of not fewer than 10 but not more than 15 members nominated by represented groups, including (1) 2 representatives each from the environmental community, irrigated agriculture community, and Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon; and (2) 1 representative each from the hydroelectric production community, a federal agency, a state agency (e.g., Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife or Oregon Water Resources Department), and a local government unit in the basin.
