S. 1251 — Defending Domestic Orange Juice Production Act of 2025

This section revises the standard of identity for pasteurized orange juice (21 CFR 146.140) to require finished product to contain not less than 10.0 percent by weight of orange juice soluble solids, exclusive of solids from any added optional sweetening ingredients, effective on the date of enactment. The revision does not limit the Secretary of Health and Human Services's authority to promulgate regulations further amending the standard.
