S. 1350 — A bill to modify the boundaries of the Talladega National Forest, and for other purposes.

This section modifies the boundaries of the Talladega National Forest to include the land depicted on the map entitled “Talladega National Forest Proposed Proclamation Boundary Addition” and dated September 6, 2024. It authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to acquire, from willing sellers by donation, exchange, or purchase with donated or appropriated funds, land and interests within the expanded area using National Forest System acquisition authorities, including the Weeks Law (16 U.S.C. 552 et seq.), and to manage such land accordingly.
