This section adds the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation as an eligible recipient for grants under four rail-related competitive grant programs and authorizes a 100% federal share of costs for grants awarded to the corporation in each program, as follows: (1) the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) grant program (formerly known as the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program); (2) the national infrastructure project assistance program under 49 U.S.C. § 6701; (3) the Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements Program (CRISI) under 49 U.S.C. § 22907 (which provides grants to states, rail carriers, and other entities to improve passenger and freight rail safety, efficiency, or reliability); and (4) the Federal-State partnership for intercity passenger rail program under 49 U.S.C. § 24911.
