S. 1505 — A bill to ensure that Social Security beneficiaries receive regular statements from the Social Security Administration, and for other purposes.

This section directs the Commissioner of Social Security, not later than January 1, 2027, to ensure that (1) individuals with Social Security account numbers receive a paper Social Security statement upon entering the workforce or starting a new job; (2) such individuals receive paper statements at specified intervals—once every five years beginning at age 25, once every two years beginning at age 55, and annually beginning at age 60; (3) paper statements are mailed regardless of online “my Social Security” account status; and (4) individuals may opt out of receiving paper statements. (Social Security statements provide individuals with their earnings history and estimated future benefits.)

This section authorizes appropriations to the Social Security Administration's Limitation on Administrative Expenses account for FY2026 and each fiscal year thereafter in such amounts as necessary to carry out this Act.
