S. 1549 — Water Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2025

This section reauthorizes the Community Water System Risk and Resilience Program through 2031 (from 2020 and 2021) by amending paragraphs (1) and (6) of subsection (g). (As background, the program provides grants to small- and medium-sized community water systems—those serving 100,000 or fewer persons—for risk and resilience assessments and strategies to address natural hazards, accidents, or intentional acts.) It also revises eligible activities under paragraph (2)(F) to include participation in training programs and purchase of training manuals and guidance materials relating to security and resilience, including protecting against and responding to cyberattacks.
