S. 1618 — Precision Agriculture Loan Act of 2025

This section revises the conservation loan and loan guarantee program (7 U.S.C. 1924) by (1) renaming it the precision agriculture and conservation loan and loan guarantee program; (2) adding adoption of precision agriculture practices and acquisition of precision agriculture technologies as eligible loan purposes; (3) inserting a cross-reference to highly erodible land and wetland conservation compliance requirements (16 U.S.C. 3812) and prioritizing loans to producers using them for such practices or technologies, including to participate in the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP, 16 U.S.C. 3839aa et seq.); (4) directing the Secretary to enhance administrative efficiency for precision agriculture loans, including delegation to the Farm Service Agency's Deputy Administrator for Farm Programs and streamlining approvals with the Natural Resources Conservation Service; and (5) reauthorizing the program through 2029 (from 2023).
