S. 1695 — HUD-USDA-VA Interagency Coordination Act

This section directs the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, the Secretary of Agriculture, and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to establish a memorandum of understanding, or other appropriate interagency agreement, to share relevant housing-related research and market data to facilitate evidence-based policymaking.

This section directs the Secretaries of Housing and Urban Development, Agriculture, and Veterans Affairs to jointly submit to specified Senate and House committees, within 180 days of enactment, a report describing opportunities for increased collaboration among the three agencies to improve efficiencies in housing programs. The report must be published in the Federal Register for a 30-day public comment period prior to submission.
