S. 1776 — Medicare Beneficiary Co-Pay Fairness Act

This section limits Medicare Part B coinsurance for facility services furnished by an ambulatory surgical center (ASC) during a surgical procedure to the annual inpatient hospital deductible under section 1813(b), with the Secretary reducing any excess coinsurance amount and paying that amount to the ASC. The limitation applies to services furnished on or after January 1, 2026.
