S. 1808 — Access to Small Business Investor Capital Act

This section authorizes a registered investment company to omit from the acquired fund fees and expenses subcaption of its fee table disclosure (i.e., in Forms N-1A, N-2, or N-3) those fees and expenses incurred indirectly through investments in one or more business development companies (BDCs). (As background, the acquired fund fees and expenses subcaption discloses indirect fees paid to underlying acquired funds; BDCs are investment companies that primarily invest in small and mid-sized businesses.)
