S. 1896 — A bill to modify the provision of law on expedited review of export licenses for exports of advanced technologies to Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

This section defines the term "export," for purposes of the expedited decision-making process (i.e., 30-day review for government-to-government agreements and 45-day review for others) for commercial advanced-technology defense articles and services to Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada, to include reexports, retransfers, third-party transfers, temporary imports, and brokering activities of such items. (Thus, these additional transfer types wholly within or between the United States, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom qualify for expedited review to the extent practicable.)
