This section directs the Comptroller General of the United States to commence, not later than 60 days after enactment, a comprehensive audit of Social Security Administration computer systems and networks accessed by the United States DOGE Service, the U.S. DOGE Service Temporary Organization, or affiliated employees or volunteers (or associated agency DOGE teams, if applicable). The audit must identify security vulnerabilities or bugs in software installed, created, or modified by such entities and determine whether they violated federal privacy laws, including the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. §552a), IRC §6103, the Federal Information Security Management Act (44 U.S.C. ch. 35, subch. Not later than one year after enactment, the Comptroller General must submit a report on audit results—including legislative and administrative recommendations—to the Senate Committee on Finance, House Committee on Ways and Means, and SSA Commissioner; and not later than 90 days after receiving the report, the Commissioner must fix identified vulnerabilities or bugs and report their status to those committees.
