S. 1990 — CURB Act

This section authorizes the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to establish reasonable and comparable compensation for executive officers of Federal Home Loan Banks (i.e., 11 regional government-sponsored enterprises that provide liquidity to member financial institutions for housing finance and community investment) in accordance with FHFA regulations, notwithstanding restrictions in section 1318(d) of the Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act of 1992 (12 U.S.C. 4518(d)); renames and restructures the existing provision on withholding compensation as paragraph (1) under a new subsection heading "Compensation of executive officers"; and strikes the transition rule in the second subsection (l).
