S. 2001 — No Visas for Violent Criminals Act

This section establishes a new ground of deportability under INA §237(a)(2) (8 U.S.C. 1227(a)(2)) for any alien convicted of a crime (i) related to the alien's conduct at and during a protest, (ii) involving defacement, vandalism, or destruction of federal property, or (iii) involving intentional obstruction of a highway, road, bridge, or tunnel. It further requires immediate cancellation of any visa issued to such an alien and removal from the United States not later than 60 days after conviction.
