S. 2013 — Higher Wages for American Workers Act of 2025

This section revises the minimum wage rates under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) to $15 per hour beginning January 1 of the first calendar year after enactment (from $7.25 per hour). It further requires the Secretary of Labor to determine annual adjustments to the minimum wage beginning January 1 of the second calendar year after enactment—and each January 1 thereafter—based on increases in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) over the prior 12 months ending in July, with amounts rounded to the nearest $0.05 and published by September 30 each year.
