S. 2103 — Healthy Food Financing Initiative Reauthorization Act of 2025

This section provides funding from the Commodity Credit Corporation for the Healthy Food Financing Initiative (HFFI) of $25 million for FY2025, $30 million for FY2026, $35 million for FY2027, $40 million for FY2028, and $50 million for FY2029 and each fiscal year thereafter. As background, the HFFI supports access to healthy foods (i.e., staple foods including perishable items such as fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy) in underserved areas by providing loans and grants through a national fund manager and partnerships to eligible retailers and enterprises, while creating quality jobs and revitalizing low-income communities.
