S. 2211 — Special Diabetes Program Reauthorization Act of 2025

This section extends funding for the Special Diabetes Program for Type 1 Diabetes (i.e., funds National Institutes of Health research grants on the prevention and cure of type 1 diabetes) and the Special Diabetes Program for Indians (i.e., grants to Indian health programs and urban Indian organizations for diabetes prevention, treatment, and education) by adding $160 million for each of FY2026 and FY2027 and $40 million for the period October 1 through December 31, 2027, to remain available until expended.
