This section directs the Secretary of Defense to (1) require all counselors assigned to a Family Advocacy Program (i.e., DOD program addressing family maltreatment) or Military and Family Life Counseling program (i.e., DOD confidential counseling for service members and families) at a U.S. military installation to receive training on that state's foster care requirements and resources—and designate such trained counselors as "foster care liaisons"; (2) add to Military OneSource (i.e., DOD resource portal for military families) a mechanism for accessing state-specific foster care information; and (3) collaborate with the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) of the Department of Health and Human Services to obtain foster care resources for military families, including training curricula.
