S. 2233 — U.S.A. Beef Act

This section establishes labeling requirements for beef under the Federal Meat Inspection Act. The label of cattle meat or meat food products of cattle may bear the phrase “Product of U.S.A.” or any substantially similar word or phrase only if the meat or product is exclusively derived from cattle exclusively born, raised, and slaughtered in the United States, except for products intended and offered for export.
