S. 2301 — Improving Care in Rural America Reauthorization Act of 2025

This section amends the rural health care services outreach, rural health network development, and small health care provider quality improvement grant programs (administered by the Director of the Office of Rural Health Policy, Health Resources and Services Administration, to expand health care access, coordinate networks, and improve quality for small providers in rural areas) as follows: (1) requires that outreach grants under subsection (e) use funds, as appropriate, to meet health care needs of rural underserved populations in the local community or region served and to involve those populations in project development and operations; (2) requires that network development grants under subsection (f) use funds, as appropriate, to increase access to quality care through integrated networks for such populations and to ensure they benefit from and participate in network planning, development, and implementation; and (3) reauthorizes the programs through 2030 (from 2025).
