S. 2396 — Farm Board Act of 2025

This section revises the requirements for the four active producer members of the Board of Directors of the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC)—which oversees the federal crop insurance program—to specify that they must include at least (i) one specialty crop producer and (ii) beginning with the Board serving on or after May 1, 2027, one producer that actively engages in both livestock production and crop production of agricultural commodities (previously, at least one specialty crop producer).
