S. 2407 — Charting My Path for Future Success Act

This section directs the Secretary of Education, not later than 90 days after enactment, to reissue the solicitation and award a contract under section 664(e)(1) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (20 U.S.C. 1464(e)(1)) for the "Charting My Path for Future Success" project to a nonprofit organization, as if no prior contract had been awarded. The project trains educators to help high school students with disabilities set goals, develop action plans, and reflect on and adjust progress to build skills for school and life success; the prior contract enabled 61 educators to assist 1,600 students in 62 high schools across 13 local educational agencies starting in January 2025. This section prohibits cancellation of the new contract without congressional approval.
