S. 2425 — Intelligence Community Property Security Act of 2025

This section establishes a new criminal offense under the National Security Act of 1947 for unauthorized access, within U.S. jurisdiction, to property under the jurisdiction of an element of the intelligence community that is clearly marked as closed or restricted. Penalties for violations include (1) for a first offense, a fine under title 18, United States Code, imprisonment for not more than 180 days, or both; (2) for a second offense, a fine under such title, imprisonment for not more than three years, or both; and (3) for a third or subsequent offense, a fine under such title, imprisonment for not more than 10 years, or both.
