S. 2447 — Repealing the Trump Sick Tax Act

This section repeals Section 71120 of P.L. 119-21, which modified Medicaid cost sharing requirements (i.e., copayments, premiums, and deductibles imposed on Medicaid enrollees), and rescinds amounts appropriated under that section. (Thus, title XIX of the Social Security Act applies as if Section 71120 and its amendments had not been enacted.)

This section repeals Section 71203 of P.L. 119-21, which modified the exclusion for orphan drugs (i.e., FDA-designated drugs primarily for treating rare diseases) under the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program. (Thus, title XI of the Social Security Act is restored and applied as if Section 71203 and its amendments had not been enacted.)
