S. 2466 — Senior Savings Protection Act

This section extends funding through FY2030 for Medicare outreach and assistance programs for low-income beneficiaries (i.e., one-on-one counseling, application assistance for low-income subsidies, and education on Medicare options and supplemental coverage) by providing the following annual appropriations previously authorized through FY2025: (1) $15 million for State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIP); (2) $15 million for area agencies on aging; (3) $5 million for aging and disability resource centers; and (4) $15 million for coordination activities to inform older Americans about federal and state benefits.
