S. 2580 — Promoting American Competition in Aquaculture Research Act

This section amends the authorization of appropriations for aquaculture assistance programs (i.e., competitive grants for research, extension, and education in aquaculture) to include $15 million for each of FY2025 through 2029 (in addition to prior authorizations of $7.5 million for FY1991 through 2013 and $5 million for FY2014 through 2023). It also establishes, effective on the date of enactment, that for awards under the subtitle (1) the indirect cost limitation under section 1462 applies and (2) the indirect cost limitation under section 1473 does not apply.
