S. 2704 — CDFI Fund Transparency Act

This section requires the Secretary of the Treasury (or designee), at the discretion of the chairmen of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and the House Committee on Financial Services, to annually testify before those committees (or subcommittees) regarding the operations of the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) during the previous fiscal year. (As background, the CDFI Fund is a wholly owned government corporation that provides financial assistance, grants, and technical support to community development financial institutions serving low-income and underserved communities.)
