S. 2867 — Uplifting First-Time Homebuyers Act of 2025

This section increases the lifetime limit on penalty-free distributions from qualified retirement plans for qualified first-time homebuyers to $50,000 (from $10,000) for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2024. (These distributions are excepted from the 10% additional tax on early withdrawals under IRC §72(t)(8).)
