S. 2911 — Streamlining State Highway Safety Submissions Act

This section directs the Secretary of Transportation, not later than 180 days after the date of enactment, to revise requirements for State highway safety programs under 23 U.S.C. 402 to allow a triennial management review by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to satisfy information and documentation requirements for triennial highway safety plan submissions under subsection (k) during the period covered by that review. (Thus, States may forgo separate plan submissions when an NHTSA review covers the same period.)
