S. 3042 — Justice for America’s Veterans and Survivors Act of 2025

This section directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to submit an annual report to the Senate and House Committees on Veterans' Affairs containing data on causes of death among veterans who died during the covered period, including for each such veteran (1) whether the veteran had a service-connected disability rated as total, (2) the primary and secondary (if applicable) causes of death, and (3) the manner of death, along with aggregate totals for each primary cause and each manner of death. The requirement sunsets five years after enactment.
