S. 3065 — LABEL Act

This section establishes conspicuous country-of-origin labeling requirements for farm-raised fish and wild fish (covered commodities under the country-of-origin labeling program, which requires retailers to notify consumers of a product's origin at the point of sale). Such labeling must appear in a manner likely to be read and understood by consumers under normal purchase conditions, with a font size no smaller than that used to describe the fish, on the package, display, holding unit, or bin.
