S. 3095 — An original bill to require the Secretary of Agriculture to convey a parcel of property of the Forest Service to Perry County, Arkansas, and for other purposes.

This section directs the Secretary of Agriculture, acting through the Chief of the Forest Service, to convey to Perry County, Arkansas, all U.S. right, title, and interest in approximately 0.81 acres of Forest Service land in Perryville (parcel 850–10555–001 at 1069 Fourche Avenue), if requested in writing within 180 days of enactment, as determined by survey. The conveyance is by quitclaim deed without consideration, subject to valid existing rights, reversion if not used for public purposes such as education and youth development, and other terms to protect U.S. interests; the county must pay all costs, including survey, environmental analysis, and National Historic Preservation Act compliance. Notwithstanding CERCLA section 120(h)(3)(A), the Secretary is not required to provide any environmental covenant or warranty.
