S. 3112 — Fairness for Fruits and Vegetables Act of 2025

This section establishes an interagency working group, composed of representatives from the Department of Agriculture (through the Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs), the Office of the United States Trade Representative, the Department of Commerce, and other appropriate federal agencies, to (1) monitor and assess seasonal and perishable fruits and vegetables trade data; (2) coordinate potential trade actions and investigations for such products; (3) consult with the Agricultural Trade Advisory Committee, producers, and trade associations on import threats to domestic producers; and (4) recommend USDA programs or assistance to address market impacts on those producers.
