S. 3246 — Service Members Tax Relief Act

This section establishes a new income tax exclusion under new IRC §139M for compensation received by active or reserve members of the Uniformed Services of the United States in connection with such service (excluding pension or retirement pay). The exclusion applies to taxable years beginning after the date of enactment.
