S. 3272 — Motorcycle Safety Awareness Act of 2025

This section revises the motorcyclist safety grant program by requiring states to meet at least three criteria (from at least two), including a new mandatory criterion to incorporate motorcyclist awareness instruction—covering state-specific motorcycle laws such as lane-splitting and lane-filtering, and share-the-road principles for motorcyclists and scooter riders—into driver education and safety courses provided by state educational and motor vehicle agencies. The changes take effect two years after enactment.
