S. 3405 — PRC Financial Intermediary Review Act

This section directs the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), not later than one year after the date of enactment, to conduct a study on the transparency of, and cooperation regarding, (1) brokers and dealers that are members of a national securities association, registered with the SEC, and controlled by or organized under the laws of the People's Republic of China; and (2) investment advisers registered with the SEC and controlled by or organized under the laws of the People's Republic of China. The section further requires the SEC to submit to Congress a report that includes the results of the study.
