This section establishes a multi-agency task force, co-chaired by the Attorney General and Secretary of Health and Human Services with representatives from the FDA, DOJ, CBP, ATF, U.S. Marshals Service, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, FTC, Homeland Security Investigations, FBI, and other relevant agencies as appointed by the co-chairs, to develop and implement a strategy reducing unauthorized e-cigarettes in the market through goals, information sharing, and coordination. The task force must meet at least every 30 days and, beginning 30 days after enactment, submit semiannual reports (due April 30 and October 31) to the Senate and House Judiciary, Health/Education/Labor/Pensions or Energy/Commerce, and Appropriations Committees detailing agency authorities and actions (e.g., investigations, prosecutions, seizures), recommendations for new authorities, and collaboration improvements. The task force terminates 10 years after establishment.
