S. 361 — Supporting Victims of Human Trafficking Act

This section revises grant allocation requirements under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 for assistance to victims of trafficking in persons in the United States by (1) in subparagraph (B), changing from mandatory ("shall") to permissive ("may") the specified uses preceding clause (i), increasing maximum allowable percentages to up to 7% (from 3%) in clause (i), to up to 10% (from 5%) in clause (ii) with added support for strengthening program administration and budgeting, and to up to 1% (from 1%) in clause (iii); and (2) in subparagraph (C), increasing the allocation for direct services to 95% (from 75%).
