S. 362 — A bill to allow certain Federal minerals to be mined consistent with the Bull Mountains Mining Plan Modification, and for other purposes.

This section authorizes mining of all federal coal reserves under Federal Coal Lease MTM 97988 (i.e., Bull Mountains Mine No. 1) on approximately 800 acres of federal land in Musselshell County, Montana (T. 6 N., R. 27 E., Montana Principal Meridian: NE¼ sec. 8, SW¼ sec. 10, and W½, SE¼ sec. 22), in accordance with the Bull Mountains Mining Plan Modification (Amendment 3, approved November 18, 2020), through one year after enactment. It requires the Secretary of the Interior to approve that plan modification, without modification or delay, within 30 days of enactment, to the extent necessary for such mining.
