S. 3791 — Regional Ocean Partnerships Reauthorization Act of 2026

This section reauthorizes appropriations for Regional Ocean Partnerships—designated multistate and tribal entities that coordinate management of shared ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources without regulatory authority (i.e., Gulf of Mexico Alliance; Northeast Regional Ocean Council; Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean; West Coast Ocean Alliance)—through FY2031 (from FY2027) and strikes prior funding amounts for earlier fiscal years. It specifies annual appropriations of $11,572,444 for FY2028, $11,688,168 for FY2029, $11,805,050 for FY2030, and $11,923,101 for FY2031; and revises reporting requirements to include a report due not later than five years after enactment of the Regional Ocean Partnerships Reauthorization Act of 2026 and to refer to "each report" rather than "the report."
