S. 4014 — A bill to direct the Secretary of the Interior to convey to the Nisqually Indian Tribe the Clear Creek Hatchery infrastructure, and for other purposes.

This section requires the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, to convey to the Nisqually Indian Tribe, without consideration and subject to valid existing rights, all U.S. right, title, and interest in specified infrastructure at the Clear Creek Hatchery not later than 90 days after enactment. The infrastructure—depicted on maps entitled “Nisqually Indian Tribe Clear Creek Hatchery Lower Site” and “Nisqually Indian Tribe Clear Creek Hatchery Upper Site” (both dated December 3, 2024)—includes Asphalt Ponds #11, #13–#16; Clear Creek Spring; Dams 1 and 2; Fish Ladder; Hillside Spring; Incubation Room; Lower and Upper Forebays; Lower Site Discharge; Pollution Abatement Ponds; Raceways; Springs 1–3; Upper Site Re-Use Flow; Water Tower; Wells 1–5; and associated pipes, electrical and communication conduits, security fences, and roads. The Secretary must also finalize maps and legal descriptions as soon as practicable after enactment (with maps controlling any discrepancies), allow mutual corrections of minor errors, and make them available for public inspection.
