S. 4045 — Food and Nutrition Delivery Safety Act of 2026

This section directs the Administrator of the Food and Nutrition Service, in consultation with specified agencies and stakeholders, to establish not later than 18 months after enactment of this subsection (1) standards for safe and secure online or mobile redemption of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, including digital privacy and cybersecurity; and (2) delivery standards promoting fair and safe working conditions (including prevailing wages) and food safety and security. Not later than 18 months after establishing those standards, the Secretary must promulgate regulations requiring SNAP authorization applicants to submit a compliance report; noncompliance results in loss of authorization, with reauthorization available upon demonstrating compliance.
