S. 4087 — A bill to exempt public school employees from non-processing related fees for H-1B visas imposed by Presidential Proclamation 10973.

This section exempts H-1B petitions (i.e., for nonimmigrants performing services in specialty occupations) filed on behalf of aliens who will work for a public school or public school district from the $100,000 non-processing fee required under section 1(a) of Presidential Proclamation 10973 (issued September 19, 2025). This exception supplements those already listed in section 1(c) of the proclamation.
