S. 4136 — Sentencing Commission Improvements Act

This section designates a Federal public defender, or a community defender designated by the Defender Services Office of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, as an ex officio, nonvoting member of the U.S. Sentencing Commission (USSC), increasing nonvoting members to two (from one). It also makes a conforming amendment to reflect 10 USSC members, including three nonvoting members (from nine members, including two).
