S. 4202 — Mental Health Access and Provider Support Act of 2026

This section increases Medicare Part B payments for certain mental health services furnished by psychologists, as specified in subclauses (F)(ii) and (FF) of section 1833(a)(1) of the Social Security Act, to 85 percent (from 75 percent) of the physician fee schedule amount under section 1848. (Thus, beneficiary coinsurance for these services decreases to 15 percent (from 25 percent) of the fee schedule amount.) The amendments apply to items and services furnished on or after January 1, 2027.
