S. 4343 — No Pensions for Congressional Predators Act

This section amends the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) and Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS)—which provide retirement annuities to federal employees, including Members of Congress—to require forfeiture of such annuities for individuals convicted of specified felony sexual offenses committed after enactment if they served as a Member of the Senate or House, Delegate, or Resident Commissioner from Puerto Rico. The added offenses are (1) sexual abuse under 18 U.S.C. ch. 109A (or similar state or tribal offense, including rape); (2) sexual exploitation and other abuse of children under ch. 110 (or similar); (3) obscene visual representations of the sexual abuse of children under 18 U.S.C. 1466A (or similar); and (4) trafficking of children or other persons under ch. 117, 1590, or 1591 (or similar). The amendments apply to acts or omissions after enactment and eliminate prior requirements (e.g., removal from office) for these offenses.
