S. 4345 — Marijuana Impact on Medicaid Act of 2026

This section directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to collect data on federal and state expenditures under the Medicaid program attributable to costs for inpatient hospital services, outpatient hospital services, and hospital emergency room services (regardless of whether such services qualify as emergency services) related to marijuana use. Not later than one year after enactment, the Secretary must submit to Congress and publicly release a report describing those findings, along with any recommendations for legislation or administrative action.
