This section makes technical amendments to the Pechanga Band of Luiseño Mission Indians Water Rights Settlement Act by (1) revising the definition of "Reservation" to specify lands set aside by Executive Orders of June 27, 1882, and January 9, 1907, plus lands added on eight dates from August 29, 1893, through October 10, 2008, and to include contiguous lands held in trust for the Band on or after the enforceability date within the Santa Margarita River Watershed; (2) expanding permissible uses of the Pechanga Water Quality account to activities addressing water quality issues in the Wolf Valley Basin (from groundwater desalination activities); and (3) authorizing the Secretary of the Interior to execute conforming amendments to the Pechanga Settlement Agreement while affirming the settlement's enforceability date (October 1, 2020) and preserving existing water rights.
